Bad Wobot

Yet another character that was going to star in his own series, I decided to include him in the new Ripped Ticket instead. Originally it was to be a chibi (and bald) version of me with a robot living in his head. When the robot plays a game, he uses Ky as his main character and basically goes around doing whatever you do in the game--only making Ky actually do it around the house.

In Ripped Ticket 3, Wobot will instead plug Ky into a video game and play it regularly, only all the characters he sees in the game are replaced with characters he knows in real life. For example, if Nick or Ash are bothering him, he takes out his utter rage against them by playing Gears of War and chainsawing some locust that bear striking resemblances to Ash and Nick. The games are basically there to keep him from committing any brutally violent acts in real life. Perhaps there's some political undertones there but I'll leave that alone.

If you couldn't already guess, the Wobot basically uses Ky as a vessel, living inside his head where the control station is. I call him Wobot because after I drew him he reminded me of the little animation after episodes of Lost with the evil red robot and the little kids saying "Bad Wobot!" I guess it's supposed to be for the Bad Robot production company or whatever. Meh. I'm not sold on his color scheme. I was trying to make him coppery or brassy but he mostly looks like a domo-kun now. Oh well.
